Somera Capital Management employs three main investment platforms.

Somera’s core business is joint venture equity with a goal to develop long-term relationships with operating partners to execute multiple transactions over time. Somera seeks qualified and trusted operating partners with specific asset class expertise and deep market knowledge.

Primarily oriented for development projects, Somera provides a unique component of the capital stack that offers an owner/operator the ability to execute a business plan and secure complete ownership of an asset after delivering a fixed total return on invested capital.

Primarily driven by asset type and geographic location, Somera has the experience and ability to acquire an asset without an operating partner if that is the best execution to maximize value.
Diversified Asset Class Portfolio
Somera’s track record includes investments across a wide spectrum of real estate asset classes including Hospitality, Retail, Office, Multi-family, and specialty assets (i.e., marinas, self-storage). The primary focus will always be on generating cash flow and value while conscientiously preserving our investors’ capital with a risk-averse approach.
When appropriate, Somera will joint venture with qualified sponsors that offer an accretive partnership in asset classes or markets outside of our specific expertise.
Over many years Somera Capital has led a variety of development and construction management projects and continues to pursue them in key markets.
